​​MTF 5K Raises Over $150,000 for Critically Ill Children
​
The 4th annual Mitchell Thorp Foundation (MTF) "Whole Lot of Hope" 5K Run/Walk, which took place on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Poinsettia Park, Thorp Field in Carlsbad, was a resounding success for the families served, drawing well over 1,000 participants.  Funds raised will go toward the medical expenses not covered by insurance, basic living and food, transportation to and from hospital and Doctor visits, sibling support who get neglected during this difficult time, family therapy and more.

​On Wednesday, June 27, 2012, we celebrated a culmination of efforts by so many members of our Mitchell Thorp Foundation Community, who truly came together to help renovate a special needs-accessible home for Izaiah Wallis and his family. BIG THANKS TO BEACH CITY BUILDERS--the lead architects who with an abundance of unselfish efforts, transformed the home.
