We have two young boys with a life long muscle disease called muscle dystrophy myopathy. We are raising funds to help us pay for the much needed therapies for both boys. All of the doctors appointments and therapist visits are putting a hardship on us and we have some days we know we have to cancel therapy appointments because we need to catch up on paying them off. The costs now have taken a toll on us and we have had to stop getting the much needed therapy to help them. We have tried all in and outs to get some help. We found MTF which is a God send to help us with our medical deductible for both boys. My son's receive physical and occupational therapy weekly and a added swim water therapy and in the process of horseback therapy if we can afford it. I love my two sons so much I would do anything for them. This is why I also stay at home daily and lost my job to help them and get them to their daily appointments etc. Thank you MTF and all our supporters in making a difference in Mason and Chase life any amount is greatly appreciated.

Thank you to all our supporters who have helped Tadee over the years, as she is still battling Lyme Disease and co-infections. The family came to MTF for assistance in 2013 and is by there side until she is cured. Medications and therapies are not covered by insurance to treat Lyme Disease, so the medical costs are very costly. MTF has been assisting in helping the family under the Medical and Home Assistance Program. Pleases consider donating any amount to Tadee's fund to help her get all the medical care that she needs. Thank You and God Bless You in Your Giving!!

Joey age twelve loved playing basketball at school until one tragic day he collapsed. Rushed to the hospital and many tests later. He suffered from a stroke, spinal cord injury and paralysis. He currently is being kept alive with a trach/vent and G-tube he is unable to speak. He understands and can blink his eyes when his mother speaks to him. He is currently hospitalized receiving intensive inpatient therapies. Plan to discharge him in July as they train the parents on all that is required for him while he is at home.
Back in January we began the application process of getting Tanner a certified services dog. There is a lot of paperwork and requirements in the process, and they tell us it can take up to two years. If I did not know better, I would have thought we were applying for a mortgage not a dog. I have filed out over 50 pages so far, crazy huh? Unfortunately, we were declined by Canine Companion due to Tony’s allergies. Tanner will need a dog that does not produce the dander, meaning it will have to be a doodle breed and there are more organization that train retrievers and labs than doodles.
Precious Charlie age 2 has been diagnosed with brain cancer. She is such a bright spirit and a little warrior battling everyday for her tomorrow. Mom had to leave her job to stay by her side at the hospital while under going chemo therapy and stem cell transplant. Family is fundraising to help with all the medical, home and transportation costs that are taking a toll on this young family. Thank you to all our supporters who have heard our story and donated to help us get all the treatment necessary for her. We are forever grateful to you and the Mitchell Thorp Foundation.
