Beth Thorp, Executive Director/Co-Founder
Beth Thorp, Co-founder/Executive Director: She wears many hats for the foundation, business development, family intake service, event coordinator, spoke's person and much more. Previously President of Powerful Impressions and Image Management Company. Beth was a sought after corporate trainer and author. Hobbies travel, long walks with her Golden-doodle, exercising, cooking and spending time with family & friends. |
Kurt Ergene, Director
Kurt is an IT Cloud Services executive for multiple technology platforms. Kurt's passion is serving in the community for Mitchell Thorp Foundation and for the La Costa Youth Baseball. He helped create our Grand Slam 4 Mitchell baseball charity tournament. He is married with two teenage children and lots of animals. |
George Jackson, Treasurer
George has owned and operated fitness centers in USA and Asia. Currently, he is owner of the fitness brand TG The Gym with locations in California and Arizona and a partner in Muscle Sport Productions, which promotes NPC and IFBB shows in Northern and Central California. He is also Co-Founder and CFO at Invent Medical Corporation. |
Kelly McLaughlin, Director
Kelly has been a Licensed Realtor for 15 years with a passion for North County living and building lifelong relations. She is skilled in negotiating contracts, leading groups, public speaking, creative marketing ideas, encouraging people, asking thought provoking questions, active listening skills and problem solving. Kelly has been married for 25 years with 2 children. She is active in Venture Church women’s ministry and enjoys yoga, paddle boarding, and cooking. She is grateful for opportunities to serving nonprofits. |
Kenny Wood, Youth Leadership Director
Kenny is the Youth Leadership Council Director, he training future servant leaders. "What gets me up in the morning is providing people the opportunities and direction to reach their full potential, both professionally and personally." He is the Professional Project Manager for The Ken Blanchard Company, where he manages learning & development engagements globally. Kenny also owns a wood working company called Kenny Wood MFG and he is married with two daughters. |
