We invite you to join Tom Hacker and Jared Teach for the Champions of Impact Golf Tournament, a premier golf event taking place on August 20th at Admiral Baker Golf Course. United by a shared passion for helping others, Tom and Jared have come together to host this special event in support of the Mitchell Thorp Foundation. Their goal is to raise critical funds that provide hope to families whose children are battling cancer, rare diseases, and other life-threatening medical conditions.
The Mitchell Thorp Foundation's mission is to ease the overwhelming financial, emotional, and practical burdens these families face during some of the most challenging times of their lives. Through this charity golf event, funds raised will help support the programs within the Mitchell Thorp Foundation to help children and families in crisis.
This is more than just a day on the golf course. It is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference, bringing the community together around a shared purpose and impact.
TOURNAMENT HISTORY
In 2014, cancer impacted Tom's family in a way it never had before. Within the same year, both his wife and father were diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, early detection led to successful treatment for both. The experience opened Tom's eyes to the challenges many families face and inspired him to give back.
Today, through a partnership with the Mitchell Thorp Foundation, the tournament supports children and families battling cancer, rare diseases and other critical medical conditions.
After learning about Jared Teach’s son, Ben, and his family’s journey, Tom knew the Mitchell Thorp Foundation was the right organization to support.

We’re also adding even more excitement to the day with contests like putting, closest to the pin, and the longest drive competitions.
