A Night of Impact and Celebration of Giving
Join us at Your Children Our Future Gala. The Mitchell Thorp Foundation is dedicated to supporting families and children who are battling cancer, rare diseases, and critical medical conditions. We provide financial assistance, emotional support, and essential resources to help ease the burden families face during some of life’s most difficult moments.
Since 2009, the foundation has supported more than 2,000 children and families, provided over $4.5 million in financial assistance, and delivered more than 8,000 gifts to hospitalized children.
This special event will bring together community leaders, generous supporters, and mission-driven organizations for a memorable evening featuring an elegant dinner, live entertainment, inspiring guest speakers, a live auction, and a Fund-a-Program initiative.
The evening will also include the presentation of the Pillars of Hope Awards, YSA Student Scholarship Awards, and Mentor Awards, honoring individuals who make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families in need.

Meet LeahLove, one of our MTF children in the Dallas area.
LeahLove is 12 months old. Her mother received the devastating news that her precious baby girl has Spinal Muscular Atrophy. This will be an ongoing life-time condition. Mom is a single parent caring for her along with her other siblings. Mom is currently on unpaid leave, but remains faithful that all will work out.
Because of your generosity, this family is receiving support through the Mitchell Thorp Foundation’s
Medical & Home Assistance Program. Your gifts help cover urgent needs like food, gas, utilities, rent, and car repairs, giving them more room to focus on their child and less on financial stress.
