Leave a Legacy
WHEN YOU INCLUDE THE MITCHELL THORP FOUNDATION IN YOUR ESTATE PLAN, YOU CONTINUE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, WELL INTO THE FUTURE, FOR OUR SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.
Gifts like this are referred to as "planned gifts" because they reflect your charitable plans and hopes for the future. There are as many ways to make a planned gift to the Mitchell Thorp Foundation as there are charitable intentions. Below are a few suggestions.
- Bequests: Name Mitchell Thorp Foundation as a charitable beneficiary in your will or trust. Go to the Bequest information page for suggested bequest language.
- Designations: Name the Mitchell Thorp Foundation as a full or partial beneficiary of a life insurance policy, bank account, or brokerage account.
- Retirement Plans: Name the Mitchell Thorp Foundation as a beneficiary of a retirement plan (your tax deferred IRA, 401(k) or 403(b) retirement plan) and possibly avoid double taxation while also supporting our work.
Consult your financial planner and/or attorney about your legacy and then let us know so we can thank you. Please contact Brad Thorp at [email protected] or 760-603-8853 to discuss Planned Giving options.
