Sixty competitive youth baseball teams came out last year to support the first annual Grand Slam 4 Mitchell Baseball Tournament at Mission Sports Park in San Marcos, This year we are expecting even more to participate with Covid-19 return to play “Best Practices” in place. The youth baseball tournament will be held September 18th – 20th, 2020. WHEREMission Sports Park in San Marcos, California. This state-of-the-art baseball park has seven fields. In partnership with San Marcos Youth Baseball, Mitchell Thorp Foundation is excited to make this our annual home for this impactful tournament. It is centrally located to bring teams from San Diego, Orange and Riverside Counties. PARTICIPATIONBaseball: 7U - 14U teams (2020 Ages) 7U - $375 per team 8U - $475 per team 9U - $495 per team 10U - 12U $525 per team 13U - 14U $550 per team FORMATThe tournament format in each division will consist of pool play followed by single elimination games, culminating in a championship game in each division. 3 game guarantee.
