Amanda

​The Barvinchak Family came to MTF through their Social Worker at Rady’s Children Hospital.  Amanda has been diagnosed with bone cancer.  Amanda is an amazing young lady who’s an outstanding track athlete at her high school and even received many scholorship offers. Her diagnosed condition came right after graduation. She became ineligible for her athletic scholarships due to her diagnosis.  Her dream school that she would like to attend is University of San Francisco.  Amanda has amazing faith, a spunky spirit and drive to beat this.  Amanda has two siblings Madeline age 16 and Michael age 9.  Mom had to leave her teaching job to stay by Amanda’s bedside and all the 24/7care that she needs.  The Foundation is assisting this family to give them much needed relief during their greatest time of need.
