 Is 6 years old and is diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy, myoneural disorders, chronic respiratory failure, gastrostomy status, lesion of sciatic nerve, and muscle weakness. Monserrat is non-verbal and cannot sit or walk. She lives with her mother and father and two other siblings.
