Iron Gideon

​Help Gideon, on November 17, 2015 Gideon was diagnosed with acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He gained his port and became Iron Gideon, fighting like a true warrior and defeating his evil nemesis. He finished his last chemotherapy dose on February 23, 2019...It was a day to celebrate!!! The superheroes sometimes end up with an evil nemesis that returns to wage another battle. Since he is the strongest of all superheroes, it was no surprise to Iron Gideon that his evil nemesis came back with a new bag of tricks on October 2, 2019 after being off treatment for only six months. Right from the start, Iron Gideon took a hit to the right eye having relapsed in the spinal fluid. Have no fear! He still has one fully functioning eye, and Iron Gideon says he can adapt and he already has, because he’s the strongest of all the superheroes. We are now preparing for proton radiation and car T cell therapy, confident that this is the super sidekick he needed by his side in order to beat this evil nemesis for good! We are fundraising to help this family with all the medical and out of pocket expenses that come along with caring for a critically ill child. MTF has already kicked off the page and is helping them under the medical & Home Assitance Program. This will be another long journey as completion of treatment is unknown.
