Jackeline is diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis (CF), Diabetes, Pancreatic Insufficiency and liver disease. She has been battling this since birth with constant hospital visits. Jackie's mom is a single parent helping Jackie along with her older sister who also has CF and is receiving a lung transplant. Isaac age 16 tragically was in a car wreck that left him paralyzed from the chest down. He currently is hospitalized for the next four months. His house is currently being retrofitted to accommodate his wheel chair and all the necessary equipment he will need. MTF is currently assisting the family under the Medical & Home Assistance Program. Their insurance has covered most but they will need more help as he leaves the hospital to carry on all his therapies. MTF is helping by providing exercise equipment for the home so Isaac can keep strong to push himself around in the wheel chair. If you have any exercise equipment that you think can help Isaac please let us know.
Carys is a bright 13 year old who has been diagnosed as High Risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia A.L.L. She is currently hospitalized receiving chemo and radiation and will soon be receiving her stem cell transplant. She is a fighter and battles her disease with a positive attitude. Mom is a single parent with one other sibling. MTF has been helping this family under the Medical and Home Assistance Program. Grayden is still undiagnosed but has infantile spasms, intractable epilepsy, hypotonic & hypertonic, kidney stones and chromosome 2Q24.2 microdeletion which was discovered performing gene therapy. Family has reached out to MTF to help with medical bills not covered by insurance and some integrative therapies to help Grayden thrive. Junior is an amazing 16 year old young man who has just been diagnosed with cancer. He has undergone surgery to remove the tumor, and is now enduring all his chemo treatments. Junior is also autistic and can not verbalize very well. Mom is a single parent raising three children on her own. MTF is helping them through our Medical and Home Assistance Program.
Dylan is 11 years old and has been diagnosed with epilepsy, CP, and failure to thrive. He was placed in a medically induced coma for 5 weeks in 2011 that caused him to lose all the physical abilities he had at that time. He has not been able to receive any consistent therapies since then and has suffered as a result. He now has leg contractions due to tight hamstrings, a slight contracture in one elbow, and he has developing scoliosis.
Alejandro was recently diagnosed in June 2017 with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) he has begun his battle with this disease. He was getting ready to start his freshman year of high school and now is side lined. He will be in the hospital for a long time as they get a handle on this. He is currently being treated at Rady's Children's Hospital. Single mom with five children trying to make ends meet. MTF is helping them through our Medical and Home Assistance Program. Precious Keane diagnosed with Neuroblastoma stage 3, High Risk just started his chemo treatment and will be operated on in the coming weeks. Mom had to leave job to stay by his side.the loss of income has put them behind. MTF is contributing by helping the family under the Medical & Home Assistant Program. Alex is diagnosed with a brain tumor in the brain stem very delicate place to treat. He currently is undergoing treatment at Rady's Children Hospital. Single mom reached out to MTF for assistance. Meet Ben he is one of our warrior children fighting ALL Leukemia. He is one of five children. He has an amazing spirit despite all his discomfort with daily/weekly/monthly chemotherapy, monthly infusions, spinal taps and all his other medications and therapies.
